Tamarind Springs is part of the Tamarind Group which owns hotels, resorts and restaurants in Singapore and Malaysia. The Tamarind Restaurants specialise in Thai and Indochinese cuisine and if every restaurant is built to give the visitor an atmospheric setting. Each restaurant evokes feelings of romanticism and the owners right describe their restaurants as a destination. Tamarind Springs certainly exemplifies all this qualities. Fine Thai and Indochinese dining is what is offered here. However, they also have an in-house sommelier to help pair your dishes with the perfect wine. All this makes it an excellent place to have a quiet party or a setting for a different sort of corporate event where you want to impress them within a beautiful Asian setting.
Located in a lush jungle setting with the Kelab Golf Darul Ehsan on one side and a hill on the other (OK, there’s a condominium there too), you will feel like you have been transported far away from the city when you are there. Built on 3 story complex, Tamarind Springs occupies the upper level. Upon arrival, you will feel the stresses and the noise of the city disappear and a sense of serenity enveloping you. In keeping with the ambience, this event venue is not air conditioned but the high ceilings and air running through it will keep you and your guests cool. When you are inside Tamarind Springs, it’s hard to believe that there’s so much lush greenery within a tropical jungle setting just 15 minutes away from the city centre.

Accessibility to Tamarind Springs is very easy especially via the AKLEH. That is the Ampang – Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway, just in case you want to know what the acronym stands for. 15 minutes is pretty much all the time you need to get there from the start of the AKLEH to Tamarind Springs. Exit the AKLEH and drive in towards the golf club and keep driving till you see Tamarind Springs on your left. And if easy access is not enough, they even have their own parking area. No parking nightmares here.
